ABOUT OMORMON AU.
"Welcome back to your house. At least, it doesn't feel like home yet."**OMORMON AU is an AU set in the Omori-Pokéverse, a universe where both games clash together. Pokémon are everywhere in the world where Aubrey and her friends are, and they coexist through day-to-day life.Or should she really be saying her friends? Nothing has been normal for a while. Not since Mari's death. Aubrey feels alone, abandoned by the people who she thought were her friends. That is, until the 'end of Galar'.Having no one who's brave - or strong - enough to battle Eternatus, a gigantic beast that's strong enough to destroy civilisation in Galar as everyone knew it, people in Galar fled the region, looking for safety.Bea wasn't prepared to leave her home. She had been in other regions countless of times, yet leaving Galar permanantly felt like her whole world was ending. She knew it was the same feeling for her adoptive brother, her best friend, Allister.Coming to Faraway Town wasn't easy. It wasn't easy for Aubrey, either, driven by only grief for her lost friend, to watch as several new people just seemingly appeared out of no where. Who was this girl and boy? What did they want?..And why was the girl so insistent on coming back to Aubrey, every break?**
ABOUT THE LORE.
"Aubrey, I... have to tell you something. About Mari."**As previously mentioned (see: About OMORMON), OMORMON AU takes place in a universe where Pokémon and the Omori universe coexist. In OMORMON AU, Chairman Rose unleashes his plan to 'save Galar' earlier than when he unleashed it in Pokémon: Sword and Shield's actual storyline. As Leon, the 'unbeatable champion' is unable to stop Eternatus, and both Gloria and Victor have not started their journeys yet, Galarians have to resort to fleeing Galar as a whole due to the rampant, gigantic Pokémon.Set apart from the Pokémon regions, but still close enough that it's known, sits the continent that OMORI takes place on, including Faraway Town. Bea and Allister, 11 and 8 years old, flee from Galar to Faraway Town, where they meet Aubrey, Basil, Kel, and Hero. After Mari's death, Sunny, Mari's brother, has closed himself off completely from the group. Due to the loss in the friend group, the group shatters, though Basil and Aubrey try and stick together.Bea and Allister join Faraway Town's school, and Aubrey feels bittersweet towards the both of them, even though they aren't in her class or grade - Mari died, and now there were some random students coming into the school all of a sudden? It felt unfair.Bea was never a people person, but she wasn't stupid, and knew she always wanted something small in life - a friend. Allister was great, but he was practically her brother. So when Bea saw Aubrey at lunch crying in a corner, she ever so casually strolled right up to her, and offered her something - an apple. Such a small gesture of kindness, but it made the count, for this was the start of something truely amazing.**
ABOUT THE CHARACTERS.
[Design sheets have yet to be completed]**
**
BEAU ("BEA") S. COLLINGWOOD.
A so-called child prodigy by some. Trained in Galarian karate, Bea's life goal was picked out from the start - become a gym leader in Galar, make his family proud. This whole goal ended, however, as soon as Bea, Allister, and his family were forced to leave their home.**
**(image placeholder)While some may regard Bea as a cold or just generally quiet girl, he can be very lively when surrounded by people he trusts completely. When he moved to Faraway Town with his best friend - and adopted brother - Allister, he went out of his way to try befriending the emotionally unwell Aubrey - by offering her.. an apple..?**
